Jug TavernJug Tavern was stage coach tavern stop in the 1700's. During the long ride between New York and Albany, riders on the stage coach could stop and rest and refresh. Liquor was sold by the jug, rather than the glass or bottle, and so it got the name Jug Tavern. |
